An old, abandoned mill sits perched precariously on a pile of mine tailings. It was snowing on and off and very cold!
An ore cart sits on some bent track, high out of the mine it belongs to.

This mine hoist solely existed to power a transfer station, making small movements to shift carts between tracks.
This transfer station moved carts back and forth between tracks when going up and down the shaft. It was powered by a hoist (left, not pictured).

Deep in an abandoned mine, a mine shaft sits still as the groundwater trickles down. It really feels like a gate to hell when you are down there. This shaft was double-tracked to support carts moving in either direction.
A large hoist sits next to the end of the shaft, to assist in mine operations.
A chain of two abandoned mine locomotives sit still, parked and untouched for decades in front of the shaft.
